On The Hellcat
While the Viper ACR may have weight and agility on its side compared to the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the latter definitely packs more of a mid-range punch.
Of course, these two cars couldn't be any more different, regardless of their performance figures being in the same "ballpark".
On one hand, the Viper (let alone the track-focused ACR) is a what you'd call a supercar, built for all types of "going fast", including when cornering, whereas the Challenger Hellcat, is more of a muscle car Hulking out.
As for the 645 HP V10 vs. the 707 HP V8 discussion (factory specs), well we better let those numbers speak for themselves on the drag strip - though weight will play as big a role as any other factors, even the ones related to the Hellcat not being stock.
We will say that while going through the speed trap, the Hellcat was doing 156.5 mph (251.8 km/h), whereas the ACR 151.1 mph (243 km/h). Also, both drivers went for a rolling start - which is definitely safer when you're worried about losing traction when putting your foot down.
